WWW – Week Without Walls

Every year BAIS does a service project called Week Without Walls (WWW), where students are involved in various community services such as fixing houses, teaching English in local schools, serving at old age homes, clearing trash from neighborhoods, etc. Unfortunately, because of COVID, we are not able to serve physically this year, but that will not stop us from helping others! There are still great needs, and we would love to help organizations we’ve been partnering with in the past by meeting their needs during this very difficult time.

Our school is raising money to help four different organizations this year. These four organizations are in need of school supplies, sports equipment, sembako, and other various supplies to meet the needs of a local orphanage. The money raised will be used to purchase these supplies and our BAIS students will help assemble them for personal delivery during our Spiritual Emphasis Week in March.

Our goal is to raise Rp. 50.000.000 for these organizations. Since we are unable to go out to these organizations in person, I am reaching out to you to be my sponsor. As a sponsor, you will give us the opportunity to serve as individuals or as a group to raise money. To raise this money, we will commit to do some type of activity that will promote a healthy lifestyle. Here are a few examples of possible activities: basketball free throws, biking, reading, running, walking, etc. This Wednesday your child will receive the paperwork for their Serve-A-Thon. Please feel free to watch the video linked here and let me know if you have any questions.

Making a difference TOGETHER,
Mr. Whitehurst
BAIS Chaplain

Student and Staff ID Cards will be distributed next week!

All parents and students in Grades 3 and up should have received an email with a link to Google Drive to access their school portraits and class photos. Please ensure that you are accessing the Google Drive folder using your school email address (@baisedu.family or @baisedu.org).
