Administrative

This is my eighth year at BAIS, but my second year as an administrator. Before BAIS, I taught history and social studies at an international school in Dakar, Senegal for four years. I am a TCK and grew up in Brazzaville, Congo. My wife and I have been married for ten years and have two boys. I recently earned a M. Ed. degree focused on curriculum and instruction.

The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC), a world-renowned accrediting association and one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States, works closely with the Office of Overseas Schools under the U.S. Department of State.

ACSI accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. Endorsement to administer College Board/ACT exams on the school site.
