BAIS is dual accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). What that means is that BAIS meets certain criteria of excellence that allows colleges and universities around the world to recognize our diplomas. Accreditation is an ongoing process as we assess, plan for improvement, implement those changes, and then reassess. However, every 6 years, the school must do an in-depth dive called a self-study (see image below). This coming January we will begin our self-study in anticipation of a visit from an accreditation team in April 2024.
The purpose of the self study is to analyze our school in order to determine what we are doing well and also to identify areas that we need to focus on and improve in. For us, this is a great opportunity for growth! As a community, we are committed to growth – the idea that we want all learners to reach their full potential. The same is true for our school. We want our school to continue to reach for its full potential so that we might see hearts and minds transformed and then sent out to bring positive transformation in their own communities.
In order to do this, we would like to form a small group of parents who are interested in analyzing where the school is at and giving thoughts on how the school can continue to improve. This group would meet once or twice a month for the next two semesters (January-May 2023 and August-December 2023). If you are interested, please contact me at travisjulian@baisedu.org. All you need to say is that you would be interested in serving on the parent home group for the upcoming self-study.

Dear Parents,
First, I want to take this opportunity to remind you that the second semester tuition payment is due on or before Friday, January 13, 2023.
Second, we are excited to invite you back for the 2023-2024 school year. In order to secure your child’s seat, please fill out this re-enrollment form and pay the re-enrollment deposit on or before Friday, January 27, 2024. Your child’s re-enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is secure when this form and the accompanying payment are received. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash to the finance office.
Please note after January 27, 2023, your child’s seat in class is no longer guaranteed. The 10,000,000 IDR non-refundable re-enrollment deposit will be applied towards the student’s fall 2023 tuition. After January 27, 2023, 7,000,000 IDR of the 10,000,000 IDR deposit will be applied towards the student’s fall 2023 tuition.
If paying via bank transfer, please include detailed information regarding the student’s name and grade in the information section of the bank form. All payments must be received in full into the school’s bank account before the first day of school. The bank account information is as follows:

PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10 will be offered in March, and pre-ordering the test must be done by January 1, 2023. If you would like for your 8th or 9th grade student to take the PSAT 8/9 or your 10th grade student to take the PSAT 10 please complete the form linked below.
Students will receive a score report that they can then connect to their Khan Academy account to have personalized practice to help them improve their abilities.
