Week Without Walls

WWW is almost here!

Permission Slips: Students will bring home WWW permission slips today and should return them to their project leader by Wednesday, March 8th at the latest (Note: Students in the Pray in Action Group should return their permission slips by Monday, March 6th).

Closing Celebration & Potluck: Parents are invited to join us on Friday morning, March 17th for our WWW Closing Celebration, this will be an opportunity to hear presentations from each group about their service project. The Closing Celebration will begin at 8:00AM in our pavilion, followed by a potluck at 10:30AM. Students are encouraged to bring food to share for this time of celebration and fellowship. March 17 is a half-day of school and students will be dismissed at 11:55AM. 

Lunches and Clubs: We are canceling all school lunches and clubs during the week. Please read the WWW leaders instructions for pack lunches. 

Transportation: We are in need of a few more vehicles for Week Without Walls (WWW), especially on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If you are willing to donate your vehicle for any amount of time on March 13-16th, please let me know via email or on this form as soon as possible. 

Donations Needed

Rumah Ruth: Any baby items; new or in good condition (i.e. clothing, blankets, diapers, shampoo, baby wipes)

Go Green: Large reusable cloth bags (like the McDonald’s bags), Reusable gloves (could be gardening gloves or thick rubber gloves)

Play, Learn, and Grow Together:

Bags of individually wrapped candy

School supplies – new or gently used

School bags – new or gently used

Pencil cases – new or gently used

Sports equipment – balls (soccer, volleyball, basketballs, badminton rackets, birdies)

Nursing Home: Adult Diapers.
