From the BAIS Elementary Principal’s Desk

Dear Parents,

I hope all of you had a wonderful Spring Break. As school started back this week, we jumped right into a season of celebrations. We are so thankful for how well our Week Without Walls went. In part, this was such a success due to many of your generous support and contributions through transportation and other supervision needs. Thank you for helping to make this year’s WWW so successful. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Another reason we have to celebrate was the successful end of our ACSI and WASC accreditation visit. Thank you again to the parents that met with the accreditation team and took time to answer questions. We received a lot of great feedback from the accreditation committee and look forward to using that information to help grow and improve the school.

A few more celebrations are coming next week! This weekend, as many of you know, is Easter – a time in the Christian faith when we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Coupled with the celebration, the school would love to recognize God’s blessing and faithfulness for the 10 years that BAIS has been on our Kota Baru campus. Friday, April 6th is our Spring Concert. During the concert, we want to take time to celebrate these two major events. At the same time, we want to celebrate the success and talents of our students in the area of music, art, photography, and theater. The concert will start at 5:30 p.m. Before that time, parents and students will have a chance to check out examples of our student work that will be on display in the front lobby. Please plan on joining us as we celebrate the blessings and talents God has given us in so many different areas.

Have a wonderful Easter Holiday,

Charity (LaMertha) Sianturi, Ed.S
Elementary Principal
