Note from Mr. Thomas

Dear Parents,

Below you will find a revised synopsis of the communication I sent on May 3rd. There are many exciting things happening at BAIS as we look to next school year. Thanks for your continued support!

K-12 Principal Update

As you know, we are excited that Mr. Neil Cantrall will be serving as the school’s director next year. I am also pleased to announce that Mr. Travis Julian, who has been vetted and interviewed by our NICS home office supervisory team, will be the school’s PK-12 principal beginning July 2021. Through his time as a social studies teacher and soccer coach at BAIS, he has demonstrated Godly service and leadership within his areas of influence. Under Mr. Cantrall’s and Mr. Julian’s leadership, there will be solid continuity for everyone in the community. They each bring a myriad of talents necessary for ensuring the school moves further toward its mission. I thank Mr. Cantrall and Mr. Julian for your willingness to answer God’s calling in using your skills, talents, and abilities to serve Him while you serve the BAIS community.

Staffing Update

The school is actively interviewing qualified candidates for social studies, music, physical education, and math. We wait for the Lord’s leading to finalize new hires and will announce them to the BAIS community as soon as we can.

Blessings,
Jeremy Thomas

Note from Mr. Cantrall

Dear BAIS Community,

We, the BAIS faculty and staff, would like to say thank you for all of your support over this past year. Thank you for your prayers, patience, encouragement, understanding, and forgiveness as we have navigated this unforeseen and unprecedented experience with a global pandemic and with on-line & hybrid learning. Thank you so much for trusting us with your child’s education and for partnering with us as fellow teachers.

As you are aware, BAIS is full of experienced teachers and long-term faculty members who are excited about taking the next steps to continue to ensure that your child receives the highest quality education possible. Some of these staff members will be serving on the “new-normal” transition team, referenced in the schoolwide communication on May 3rd. This team will focus on developing policies and procedures, as well as addressing concerns and questions, for reintegrating students to in-person schooling in a full-time and/or hybrid capacity as permitted by governing authorities.

We know and recognize that we are still in the midst of a challenging time and that transition is going to have its difficulties, but we also know that good things have happened over this past year even in the midst of suffering and tragedy. We know, fully believe, and trust that good things will continue to happen at BAIS and among our BAIS community even with the challenges we may face next year.

If you haven’t already had the chance, please fill out the brief survey linked below. Its purpose is to gather information about your experiences this year, both positive and challenging, along with your hopes and concerns for next year. As you have so faithfully partnered with us throughout this past school year, please continue to partner with us by taking time to pray through and then answer these survey questions. We greatly appreciate each BAIS family and are so blessed and honored to be part of your child’s education.

In partnership,
Neil Cantrall
