Academics
Early Years at BAIS
The BAIS Preschool program provides a safe, caring, and joyful beginning to learning for our youngest students. Children grow through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships, developing early communication, cooperation, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Guided by caring teachers and rooted in a Biblical worldview, preschool classrooms encourage kindness, curiosity, and wonder about God’s world. Through stories, hands-on activities, and creative play, students begin developing the social, emotional, and early learning skills that prepare them for elementary school.
We partner closely with families to nurture each child’s academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth during these important early years.
Preschool
Our preschool program engages children in thematic units and play-based learning within a Christ-centered environment. Through hands-on experiences, students learn about the world God has created while developing classroom routines and becoming more independent. We create a loving, nurturing space where every moment becomes an opportunity to explore. Preschoolers are encouraged to observe and interact with their surroundings, instilling a sense of wonder, while understanding God’s presence in their learning and interactions with others.
Junior Kindergarten
In Junior Kindergarten, we build on the preschool experience with the Creative Curriculum for Junior Kindergarten, which is carefully crafted to support whole-child development. Through joyful, engaging activities, children are introduced to language, literacy, math, and faith-based lessons, preparing them for Kindergarten and beyond. Our teachers incorporate Christian values into our curriculum to emphasize learning through play while helping children understand their unique role in God’s creation.
Holistic Education
for Every Child
Classroom activities promote cultural and linguistic responsiveness, ensuring that every child is seen and valued as part of God’s family. Project-based investigations and hands-on exploration help children develop critical thinking, creativity, and confidence, while regular assessments guide personalized instruction.
Our goal is to nurture the academic, social-emotional, physical and creative development of each child, ensuring they are prepared for lifelong learning and to walk confidently in their faith.
