Service Learning
Purpose
At BAIS, service is not just a value; it’s a vital part of our students’ education. Through hands-on programs, we seek to impart the importance of serving others, and this involves lessons that go beyond the classroom. We believe that service not only benefits those we help but also enriches the lives of those who serve, enabling students to grow in character, compassion, and faith.
Week Without Walls (WWW)
Our annual WWW is a time when our school pauses its regular schedule to participate in service projects throughout the community. This unique week gives students real-life experience in meeting community needs, helping them understand the significance of serving others while applying practical skills outside of the traditional classroom setting.
Spiritual Emphasis Week (SEW)
A key aspect of our SEW involves secondary students planning, organizing, and leading activities for elementary students. This opportunity allows older students to serve as role models while nurturing a sense of unity and joy with younger ones, fostering both leadership and community.
